Hello everyone, hope you're well!
Just a flying visit as I realised I hadn't updated here for a while - I post a couple of times a week over on instagram if you'd like to follow my art more closely

Hello!
I know, I know, it's been a lifetime, amirite?! I've been working freelance doing portraits but figure it's too boring to share them to people who don't know those in the painting... hence the silence.
Anyhoo, long story short, I'll be focusing more on my personal art again. I promise I'll post every piece here, but I'm still going to suck at commenting and what not (also a full time mum, not enough time in the day for every platform/social media!) So if you do want to get in touch, catch me over on instagram here where I'm much more active

Summer Madness!

Hello everyone! It's been hectic around here with the summer holidays (especially as a mother) so I haven't been able to post as regularly as I'd like. Few more weeks and I'll be back on a schedule though, hurrah!
What is your favourite way to view art? Out of curiosity
I'm thinking of starting a weekly/fortnightly YouTube channel with time lapse paintings with commentary for fun, but it would mean less time for twitch streams so curious to know what people enjoy more

- YouTube videos (with/without commentary),
- Watch it live (e.g. Twitch)
- Blog (Wordpress, Blogger etc)?

Twitch Streams and Blog Updates

Hey all! So it's been a busy May, so far! I started the May Sketch a Day challenge (which is exactly what it sounds like) and my internet got upgraded, hurrah!
I decided I'd give streaming a try as I'm drawing/painting every day anyway and now I have good enough internet to do so
The streams will be Monday - Friday 9:30am-11:30am GMT+1 (BST), with the possibility of some evening streams too if there's interest. I'll be working on my daily sketches for May and open to taking requests (with references), come along and chat/lurk/join in and doodle too

Trying some new stuff!

New post up!
Hey! Been a little quiet here - for the past couple of weeks I've been experimenting with watercolours (and other traditional mediums) and just trying to learn how to use them, hence why I've not been posting as much. I also realised I never linked my last blog entry so there are 2 new posts to share! In both posts I'm experimenting with new styles (that I plan to complete in watercolour or at least mix traditional and digital - we'll see!)

So far I'm liking how the line art looks (specifically in the 2nd post) I'm just unsure if I can get it to where I'd like to see it in colours. I've still got a lot of experimenting to do, but I feel like I'm heading in the right direction. Hopefully by the end, I'll have a method and style I not only enjoy doing but enjoy looking at by the end... and when (yes when!) I do get there, I'll finally be able to start making my short visual stories a reality
